Going Pro Crew in 2006 (1/3/2006)

Carl Scott has signed with veteran Formula TR team  Welsh Racing  for the 2006 season.  As trackside crew, Carl will be helping the team to improve on their already stellar records by providing trackside maintenance, tuning and driver coaching.  The team solicited Carl's services based on last years similar role with CT motor sports where he helped 14 year Austin to several podium finishes. .

In addition to the FRANAM series, Carl will be providing similar services to privateer entries in the Pacific F2000 series where he experienced a lot of success in the Pinto class.

Of course, these efforts will be balanced with attending college and working part time as a mechanic and race car fabricator.

No firm plans are in place for driving full time and occasional stints at the wheel will be required to maintain his driving skills. .
