New Years Plans 2002

Tiger karts Racing is gearing up for a big learning year in 2002 as the Tiger Karts RF96 is being refurbished to support a year of Club Level racing.  With NASA races available monthly, we expect to improve on 2001's third place by winning the Formula Continental NASA 2001 season.

March will be the opportunity to step up to the SCCA level as Carl turns 16 and plans to complete the SCCA driving school.  This should allow opportunities to contest SCCA club events at PIR as will as Firebird.  We have no specific goals for SCCA other than to gain experience, qualify for a competition license and win at least a heat or Semi-main.

Karting will play a role in the overall picture as we will move up to senior 80 (K1) with the shifter and compete in selected local events including the IKF regional and SKUSA Promoto Tour events scheduled for PKRA.  We may even put a pipe on the Speeedway kart and try a few events in Tucson.

Happy holidays and we will see you at the track.
